November movies continue at the Canastota Public Library

Every Tuesday at 5 p.m., the Canastota Public Library shows a movie in the Lawson Community Room. These are scheduled for an adult audience. In November, the movies we are showing have been requested by those who faithfully attend the movie night. The following movies will be shown:

Tuesday, Nov. 14 – Michael Keaton stars as Ray Croc, a struggling businessman who meets two brothers who run a burger operation. The timeline is 1950s. Kroc is impressed with the brothers’ operation and sees franchise possibilities. Rated PG-13.

Tuesday, Nov. 21 – “Bay Watch” is back with Dwayne Johnson and friends. In this movie, based on the television series, a dangerous crime wave hits the beach. Mitch Buchannon (Dwayne Johnson) leads his elite squad of lifeguards on a mission to prove that you don’t have to wear a badge to save the day. This also stars Zac Efron and even Pamela Anderson makes an appearance. This movie is rated R.

Tuesday, Nov. 28 – In this week’s movie, a grieving father receives a mysterious invitation to meet with God at a place called “The Shack.” The film stars Sam Worthington, Octavia Spencer and Tim McGraw and is rated PG-13.
