Library Closures: We will be closed every Saturday from May 25 until Sept. 1 for our summer hours. We will be closed to observe Memorial Day on Monday May 27.
Decorate our SRP Banner: Starting Wednesday May 1- Friday May 24 help us decorate a letter for our Summer Reading banner. Stop in during library hours during this time and get a letter to take home and decorate. First come, first serve. Open to kids ages 2-17. Letters due back to the library by June 14, 2019.
Historic Talk: Railroading in the Stockbridge Valley: On Friday May 3 at 6:30pm, join John Taibi as he shares with us about the O&W railroad between Oneida and Whites Corners past his station at Munnsville.
Play Mahjong: Like to play Mahjong? Want to learn how to play without using the computer? Willing to teach young and old. Join the fun every Monday afternoon at the library from 1pm-3pm. Dates for May are: Monday May 6, 13, and 20.
Kiddies Korner: Bring the little ones in on Tuesday May 7 at 10am for our preschool story hour. Bring your preschool child in to read about “Flowers and Mom”. Stories, rhymes, finger plays, a craft and more.
Homeschooling 101: Are you interested in homeschooling? Just want to know what it is about? Want to meet other homeschoolers in the area? Anybody who homeschools, is interested or wants to just come and see what it is all about we will see you on Wednesday May 8 at 6:30pm.
Kiddies Korner: Bring the little ones in on Tuesday May 14 at 10am for our preschool story hour. Come hear stories about “In the City”. Stories, finger plays, a craft and more.
Book Talk: Looking for a good book to read? How about joining our book talk on Wednesday May 15 at 6:30pm as we will be reading, The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks. Copies can be picked up now. So grab a book, read it and come join us for a sure to be fun discussion.
NERF Battle Night: Bring your own Nerf equipment (darts too–please label them) and join us for open play around the library on Friday May 17 from 8:30pm-11pm. See if the library stacks provide you enough shelter from being hit by a friend’s foam dart. Open to ages 10 and up; so adults are welcome too. Everyone must bring a snack and a drink. ONLY 14 spaces are available. ALL participants MUST sign up in the library and get a permission slip to return completed the night of. We will not allow people to complete permission slips at the door.

Kiddies Korner: Bring the little ones in on Tuesday May 21 at 10am for our preschool story hour. We are having fun with the topic, “Ice Cream.” This is our last regular preschool story hour until October. We will have ice cream sundaes to celebrate another great year of stories. ***PLEASE NOTE: We ARE having a summer reading themed story hour this summer Tuesdays at 10am from July 2 through Aug. 6.***
Library Board of Trustees meeting: The Library Board of Trustees will meet on Thursday May 23 at 6:30pm in the library’s program room. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Family Movie Night: Come to the library on Friday May 31 at 7pm as we will be showing The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. As always, we provide the popcorn; you bring your beverage.
