The Ladies’ Death and Derby Society will host its first home bout of the season, “May the Fourth Be With You,” at 7 p.m. May 4 at the New Hartford Recreation Center, 4 Mill St., New Hartford.
The LDDS TitleTown KnockOuts will bout the Eerie Roller Girls.
A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit The Bell Tree in Earlville.
Advance sale tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and children ages 5 to 12. Tickets are available from members of the TitleTown KnockOuts, at titletownknockouts.brownpapertickets.com/ or at the door for $12 for adults and $5 for children (ages 5 to 12) and seniors (65-plus). Children under 5 years of age are free. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Food truck onsite by Brake from the Grind and half-time performance by the Galaxy Squad Dancers.
Founded in February 2012, Ladies’ Death and Derby Society has members from across Madison County including Hamilton, Earlville, Canastota, Madison, Oneida and Sherrill. The league is a not-for-profit organization that aims to empower our athletes through a competitive sport while also helping the local community.
