The Coal Yard Bar & Grill in DeRuyter held its third Celebrity Bartender fund-raising event the evening of Friday, May 24, 2019, with state Fair Director Troy Waffner the featured Celebrity Bartender for the evening. Troy served drinks from 8 to 10 p.m. and donated his tips to his chosen recipient the Madison County Farm Bureau. In addition, Coal Yard Owners Ruth Ann and Bob Stone contributed ten percent of sales during the event.

By the end of the evening, a check for $700 was presented to members of the Madison County Farm Bureau. In turn, the Madison County Farm Bureau will be matching this donation, dollar-for-dollar, and will be presenting a check for $1,400 to the New York FFA’s Leadership Training Foundation in support of camp activities for youth at the Oswegatchie Education Center located in Croghan.

The Madison County Farm Bureau would like to recognize and thank the generosity of the Coal Yard Bar & Grill, its owners Ruth Ann and Bob Stone, their patrons, and celebrity bartender state Fair Director Troy Waffner.
