Three individuals sent to hospital following a road rage incident in parking lot
On June 3, 2019, at 10:20 p.m., State Police in Sylvan Beach responded to a two-vehicle property damage accident in the parking lot of the Sylvan Beach Amusement park.
A preliminary investigation has revealed a Dodge Avenger operated by Kami M. Burton, 39, of Vernon Center, and a Dodge Caliber operated by Brittani M. Davis, 33, of Syracuse, were leaving the parking lot when the vehicles collided.
A verbal altercation ensued between the drivers. The verbal argument then escalated into a physical altercation involving both drivers and a passenger in the Avenger.
During the physical altercation, Burton and her 16-year-old passenger were transported by ambulance to Oneida Healthcare Center with non-life threatening injuries. Davis received a minor injury to her right hand and was taken to SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.
