Things are happening in Nelson and we’re excited about some neighborhood changes. If you haven’t tried MadTaco you’re in for a treat, so we’d like to treat you and a friend. As an eNewsletter subscriber we’re offering a ‘buy-one-ticket-online-get-one-free-at-the-door offer.
Make a night of it. Grab some tacos at MadTaco or try a local brew at the Nelson Farms Four-Corner Tap Room before heading to the Odeon for a night of music by Jeffrey Martin. To take advantage of this offer, purchase one ticket via the email newsletter link and we’ll have another ticket for you at the door.
That’s two tickets for $20.
Jeffrey Martin isn’t so much a singer/songwriter as he is a wandering troubadour of the downhearted and desolate. A former high school English teacher, Martin’s lyrics have been compared to the work of short story masters Raymond Carver and Annie Proulx. Much like fellow Portland Oregon musician Willy Vlautin, Martin’s voice is pained, vulnerable and intimately connected to the music has long been considered a “songwriter’s songwriter.”
