Our Giving Tree Fundraiser has begun! Shop for the library this holiday season! We have several items the library needs! It’s EASY! Grab a Christmas tag off our giving tree of something you would like to donate to the library. Buy it, donate it, whatever it says and bring the tag and the item in as soon as you can! We would like all donations turned in by January 31, 2020.

Our second annual Silent Auction has ALSO begun! Over 100 items will be available for bidding! Several businesses have donated some great things and we have handmade items, toys and more! There is something for everyone! Stop in and bid today! Bidding ends at 8pm on Friday December 13! Shop for your loved ones at the library this holiday season! (The auction is being held in the library’s program room.)

Join us for Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour, on Tuesday November 19 at 10:00am! Help us have fun with “Yummy Chocolate!” Stories, finger plays a craft and more! Can’t make it that day? Join us the following week (November 26) for “Thanksgiving!”

This Friday November 15 is our Nerf Battle Night at 8:30pm. Be sure to get a permission slip and sign up today! Only a few spaces left. No one enters without a slip and signing up. Open to 7 and up (adults too!)

Wednesday November 20 we will be having a Book Talk at 6:30pm. Looking for a good book to read? How about joining our book talk as we will be reading, The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek by Kim Michele Richardson. Copies can be picked up now! Discussion open to teens and adults! So grab a book, read it and come join us for a sure to be fun discussion!

On Friday November 22 join us for our Family Movie Night at 7:00pm! We provide the popcorn so bring the family and your own beverage! Want to know what we are showing? It’s Christmastime and Santa wants to hear from you! So stop in to the library starting November 25 (until December 20) and write your letter to Santa with all your Christmas wishes on it! Make sure you address the back of the paper when you fold it, so we can deliver it to the North Pole for you! Slip it into our special letters to Santa mailbox at the circulation desk! Open to all ages; young and old!

On Wednesday November 27 at 1:00pm, the Utica Zoomobile will be bringing a few of their animals for us to see, learn about and touch. Bring the family in for a good time with these animals!

We will be closed from Thursday November 28 through Saturday November 30 to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday! We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
