We set a big goal for Dec. 3’s #GivingTuesday: Raise enough money in a single day to help people in Onondaga, Oswego, Madison, Cayuga and Seneca counties find a way to live independently.
That means help in finding a place to live, securing a job, ensuring that students with disabilities obtain the accommodations in school that will help them succeed. Discovering their own hidden talents with a submission to the ARISE UNIQUE Magazine or new ways to stay fit, whether it’s on horseback or skis.
Our outpatient mental health services provide individual, family and group therapy to help adults, teens and children build on their strengths and improve their overall quality of life.
Helping people find independent living may simply mean building a ramp to their house so people can be more mobile.
Founded in 2012, GivingTuesday has inspired millions of people to give back and support the causes they believe in. More than $400 million was raised online in 2018 to benefit a tremendously broad range of organizations, and much more was given in volunteer hours, donations of food and clothing and acts of kindness.
You can show your support of ARISE right now. Go to our website (ariseinc.org) and hit the donate button or you can call in your donation at 315.671.2909.
ARISE has many different programs and services, all designed to help people become an active and independent member of our community. Thank you, in advance for supporting your neighbors, friends and, family this Giving Tuesday.
