Ring in 2020 by partying like an animal with the animals. Join the Utica Zoo for a Noon Year’s Eve Celebration Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Visitors can enjoy s’mores and hot chocolate around the fire pit, as well as crafts, animal meet-and-greets, and special enrichment activities, including an enrichment “Ball Drop.”
There will also be a sparkling juice toast at noon to allow the young celebrators to join the New Year festivities. Visitors are also encouraged to add their New Year’s resolutions to the Conservation Re-ZOO-lution Board in the Auditorium. The Noon Year’s Eve celebration is free with zoo admission. The Utica Zoo will close at 3 p.m. Dec. 31, 2019, and re-open for regular business hours Jan. 1 at 10 a.m.

The Utica Zoo is open 363 days a year, closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Winter admission rates for adults is $4.50, kids 3-12 are $3, seniors, military and students are $3.50 and children under 2 are free.
