The New Woodstock Free Library is now offering curbside takeout of library materials. Patrons may call the library at 315.662.3134 for more information or to place an order.
“While according to applicable local, state and federal orders patrons are not allowed to enter the building,” Library Director Norm Parry said, “this temporary alternative will provide personal service and access to all library materials.”
“Placing an order is easy,” Parry said. “Call the library. Staff are available to answer the phone Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., but the answering machine is operating 24/7. Library personnel will answer questions and help patrons select materials – books, books on disk, movies, etc. A pickup day and time convenient for the borrower will be set. Orders will be picked up in the library foyer, without in-person interaction with anyone.”
The library is located at 2106 Main Street (Route 13), New Woodstock. The library may be reached at 315.662.3134 or newwoodstocklibrary.org, or on Facebook.
