To the Editor:
(Oneida, NY – Jan. 2013) Although I’ve been living in Oneida only since 2009, the Tammy Mahoney case really gets under my skin. The fact that the suspects and witnesses in the case are still living amongst us really infuriates me. The culprits probably think the police and public have forgotten all about the case, which may in fact be true to some degree.
But I can’t seem to get past it.
There are people out there in our community who know what happened and where her body was discarded; we may even pass them on the streets or in the aisles while shopping in town.
It’s time we flushed these vermin out from their hiding places and bring the perpetrators to justice; if you know something, say something!
