OLD BUSINESS – Discussion of Charter Committee recommendations

 

PUBLIC HEARING:  Proposed Local Law to regulate Outdoor Furnaces

 

*Approval of regular meeting minutes of 3/5/13 and special meeting 3/12/13

*Approval of Warrant No. 5

 

  1. 1.                  MONTHLY/ANNUAL REPORTS: Receive and place on file monthly reports from the Chamberlain, City Clerk, City Engineer, Director of Planning & Development, Fire Chief, and Police Chief, and the monthly and annual report from the Recreation Dept.

 

  1. 2.                  SURPLUS ITEMS:  Authorize the sale of a 2000 Chevrolet Impala on e-Bay.  (Lovins)

 

  1. 3.                  AGREEMENT:  Authorize the Acting Mayor to sign an agreement with the Oneida Memorial Association whereby the Association will organize, conduct and be in charge of the observance and the City will provide liability insurance coverage for the parade scheduled for Friday, May 24. (Smith)

 

  1. 4.                  CANVASS BIDS: Canvass and approve bids for Tree & Stump Removal and Tree Trimming with American Arborist, Oneida NY being the lowest bidder meeting specifications and further authorize the City Engineer to expends funds up to the programmed amount. (Rauscher)   

 

  1. 5.                  OVERTIME FOR RECREATION SEASONAL SUMMER MAINTENANCE STAFF:  Authorize the payment of overtime at time-and-a-half (rather than at straight time) for the 2013 Seasonal Summer Maintenance Staff for work performed in excess of their 40 hour work week. (Griff)

 

  1. 6.                  SUMMER CONCERTS: Authorize the Acting Mayor to sign various concert/entertainment contracts, as they are submitted, in an amount not to exceed a total of $3,500. (Griff)

 

  1. 7.                  PARK PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS & OPEN SWIM: Authorize the Recreation Department to waive the daily open swim fee of $1.00 for participants of the 2013 Park Program, as there is a $425.00 fee for the seven-week park program. (Griff)

 

NEW BUSINESS

 

EXECUTIVE SESSION:   Proposed sale or acquisition of real properties. (Stedman)
