(Cazenovia, NY – March 2013) At 6:35 p.m., Monday, Jan. 14, Edward J. Wasilewski, 30, of Nelson Street, Cazenovia, was struck by a vehicle while longboarding (madisoncountycourier.com/?p=40876). He was airlifted to SUNY Upstate Medical University by Onondaga County Air-1 helicopter in critical condition. He remains there in an induced coma, having undergone multiple surgeries to repair many broken ribs and to stop any significant bleeding throughout his operations.

His prognosis is yet undetermined.

His family faces the financial responsibility of paying for medical treatment and other expenses not covered by insurance; family and friends are asking for love and support during this difficult time.

An auction is being held from 4 to 9 p.m. April 13 at Cazenovia Sports Bowl, 3 Carriage Lane, Cazenovia.

Your donation will provide assistance with mounting medical bills and child care for Edward’s 4-year-old son Anthony. In addition, any donated items that can be spared will help make the benefit a success.
