(Chittenango, NY – April 2013) Fort Ticonderoga has announced Erica Martin, Chittenango Middle School teacher is a recipient of a teacher scholarship to attend the Eighteenth Annual War College of the Seven Years’ War May 17 to 19.
“Since 2001, Fort Ticonderoga has provided 109 scholarships for teachers to attend its seminars and conferences at no cost, including 62 scholarships to attend the War College of the Seven Years’ War.
“The War College of Seven Years’ War focuses on the French & Indian War in North America (1754-1763), bringing together a panel of distinguished historians from around the country and beyond,” said Rich Strum, Fort Ticonderoga’s Director of Education.
