(Oneida, NY – April 2013) Girls in kindergarten through fifth grade will be taught how to help someone who is being bullied at a workshop being held on May 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. Paul’s Church, 551 Sayles St. in Oneida. Pre-registration is required and new members are welcome.

During this workshop girls will receive the tools they need to understand the dynamics of bullying and identify ways to help themselves if they are being bullied or help others that are dealing with a bullying problem. Girls will earn a “Stop Bullying” fun patch.

The registration deadline is April 26 and the cost to attend is $2 per girl for current Girl Scouts. Girls that are not already Girl Scouts need to register as Girl Scouts, financial assistance is available.
