New Physicians Bring Additional Specialties

(Oneida, NY- April 2013) Oneida Healthcare has announced the addition of two surgeons to Oneida Orthopedic Specialists. David Patalino, M.D., and Jonathan Wigderson, D.O., join Dr. Joseph Pierz, Dr. John King and Physician Assistant Christopher Lott at the Route 5 offices in Oneida.

Patalino received his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery there, from which he also has a fellowship in orthopedic hand surgery. Patalino specializes in hand and wrist reconstructive surgery; hand and wrist trauma and endoscopic carpal tunnel release, as well as wrist, elbow and shoulder arthroscopy. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

Wigderson received his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Athens, Ohio, and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Peninsula Hospital Center is Far Rockaway. He is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and is a trained trauma specialist with a trauma fellowship from Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Wigderson is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Orthopaedic Trauma Association.
