National Day of Prayer May 2
(Oneida, NY – April 2013) The Oneida Area Council of Churches invites the public regardless of faith or denomination to join in the 62nd annual National Day of Prayer at Oneida City Hall, Thursday, May 2, from noon to 12:30 p.m. as we recognize and pray for these factions of our community: government, military, media, business, education, church and family.
On Friday, May 3, Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Our Lady 1250 will join Holy Cross Academy students and Knights of Columbus Council 473 together in prayer with thousands of others around the world for an end to abortion.
The “One Million Rosaries for Unborn Babies” prayer event, organized by the Saint Michael the Archangel Organization, will begin at 1 p.m. in the Holy Cross chapel. Following the Rosary, at 1:20 p.m., Rev. Richard Kapral will celebrate Mass.
