Cazenovia library new(Cazenovia, NY- Sept. 2013) Lifelong Learning, operated through the Upstate Institute at Colgate University, will present “Learning for the Fun of It” in the Cazenovia Public Library Community Room on Friday, Sept. 20 at 2 p.m.

Time for Q and A will be available after the informational presentation.

Open to all, Lifelong Learning offers courses, lectures, and events that respond to community interest.  Taught by community members and by Colgate faculty, the non-credit program is organized by local community members and welcomes everyone from the entire central New York region to join in its classes.

Fall class samples include “Aches and Pains;” “The Ins and Outs of ebay;” “Collecting,” taught by Jim Loveless, Colgate Art Professor; “The Politics of the Papacy,” taught by Tim Byrnes, Colgate Professor and panelist on WCNY Ivory Tower; “Coping with Grief;” “The Middle East Today;” and many other selections.

“Learning for the Fun of It” is free and open to the public.
