(Cazenovia, NY – Sept. 2013) the Cazenovia Preservation Foundation offers the program Fish and Invertebrate Seining for Saturday, Sept. 21 from 1 to 3 p.m.

Participants are asked to meet in state parking area at south end of Cazenovia Lake.

What animals live in the waters of Cazenovia Lake?  Come get in the water with Cazenovia College’s Thad Yorks and use 50 foot long seines to temporarily capture and observe fish and invertebrates from the shallow near-shore waters.

Wear some old shorts and sneakers and bring a towel or two for the ride home.

Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
