(Canastota, NY – Sept. 24, 2013) Canastota Pop Warner is having a tremendous season.
The Flag teams are showing great improvement in everything they do and having a great time while they do it. Both flag teams have tremendous potential for future Pop Warner victories.
The Mighty Mites are playing their little hearts out…they are practicing hard during the week and then using their lessons to disrupt their opponents during game time.
This week the Pop Warner teams played against Westmoreland. The Mighty Mites made a great run of it and showed West Moreland how it’s done in Stota.
Following the Mighty Mites, the C-Team (junior pee wee) played a grueling game and did not lose easily to Westmoreland.
And, as for the Canastota Pop Warner B-Team (Pee Wee)…well…Canastota came to play. They hit hard. They hit fast and they hit with everything they had, even when their second string was put in positions that they never played before, the Raiders still came out with a 34-6 win against the Bulldogs putting the B-Team at 4-0 on the season.
