Ploth to attend SUNY Adirondack
(Sept. 2013) Sean Ploth of Oneida is among more than 900 first-time, full-time students to attend SUNY Adirondack for the Fall 2013 semester.
MVCC Students Inducted into Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society
Mohawk Valley Community College opened its Fall Semester with several new inductees into the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. The Lambda Beta is MVCC’s chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.
This year’s event marks the 54th Anniversary for the Lambda Beta Chapter at MVCC, which was started in 1960 with the induction of 24 students when the College was known as the Mohawk Valley Technical Institute.
The 2013 spring semester inductees are:
Rebekah Boyd of Canastota, majoring in Photography.
Tyler Donlon of Waterville, majoring in Engineering Science.
Melissa Lewis of Sherburne, majoring in Chemical Dependency Practitioner.
Sasha Pina of Oneida, majoring in Radiologic Technology and General Studies.
