Cazenovia library new(Cazenovia, NY – Oct. 2013) A second offering of “The Art of College Cost Funding” will be held at the Cazenovia Public Library on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m.

Parents are encouraged to start planning now in order to have more options when trying to secure money for their children’s education.

Topics covered during the lecture will include (1) how to navigate through the maze of college funding, (2) how to properly lower their out-of-pocket costs, (3) how to pay for college without relying on 529 plans, (4) how to send their children to an expensive private university for less than a state college, and (5) how to select colleges that will provide them with the best financial aid package.

On Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. author Chuck D’Imperio returns to the Cazenovia Public Library to discuss his recent book Unknown Museums of Upstate New York.  This book takes a look at 50 little known museums around the region and is sure to be popular with travelers, history buffs, or anybody interested in life’s little trivia facts.

“Big Chuck” D’Imperio is one of Upstate New York’s longest tenured radio broadcasters.  He has been helming his morning show on Townsquare Media Radio in Oneonta since 1989.  He is also an author with six “Upstate Books” on the shelves as well as being a longtime newspaper columnist.

D’Imperos gives more than 30 presentations a year around New York titled “Upstate Stories.”  His talks are informative and humorous and will appeal to anyone who has an interest in the little, unknown stories that make Upstate New York a wondrous place where “history happened.”

Unknown Museums of Upstate New York will be available at the October 30th lecture for purchase and signing.

Both lectures will be held in the Library Community Room and both are free and open to the public.
