(E. Syracuse, NY – Oct. 31, 2013) Colleen Wheaton, Central Region president of CSEA, the labor union representing many Madison County area workers, said she was “proud to throw the support of CSEA” behind the following candidates for elected office in Madison County:
Michael Kaiser, Supervisor, City of Oneida Wards 4, 5, 6
Ann Jones, Madison County Clerk
Allen Riley, Madison County Sheriff
Wheaton said that the candidates earned endorsements from CSEA after a thorough process of candidate interviews and reviews of their questionnaires on labor issues.
“All these candidates have demonstrated to us that they deserve the support of the working men and women throughout Madison County,” Wheaton said. “They want to work cooperatively with us to improve our communities. We’re happy to lend our strength, our support and our political clout to these candidates who have earned it.”
“We’re urging all union members to get out on Tuesday, Nov. 5, and vote in the General Election. We hope they will take into consideration our endorsements when they get to the polls.”
