(Wampsville, NY – Dec. 14, 2013) Eva Gigon has been promoted to the position of postmaster of the Wampsville Post Office in Madison County.
She was sworn into that post in a public ceremony at the Wampsville Post Office, 137 North Court St. on Friday Dec. 13.
“Today’s Postal Service requires skilled persons to work with our customers, to maintain our retail and delivery operations, and to manage our complex network of employee programs,” said Michelle Krul, Manager of Post Office Operations for the Albany District of the Postal Service. “I am delighted that Eva’s talents and interests will now deliver for Wampsville. That’s good news for us all.”
