PUBLIC HEARING: 

  • Local Law to amend Chapter 17 of the City Code, titled “Animals” to regulate the keeping of animals within the City of Oneida

 

PRESENTATION:  SUNY ESF Students – Greenhouse Gas Audit (Rauscher)

 

OLD BUSINESS 

 

*Approval of meeting minutes 01/21/14

*Approval of Warrant No. 3

 

  1. APPOINTMENT:  Approve the Mayor’s appointment of Charles R. Pendleton, Oneida, to the Board of Assessment Review.  (Mayor)

 

  1. CANVASS BIDS:  Canvass and approve bids for Sensus Low Lead Water Meters. (Smolinski)

 

  1. WATER FUND TRANSER:  Approve a budget transfer to close out the Water Shop Roof Replacement Capital Project. (Pease)

 

  1. APPROVE SALE OF REAL PROPERTY:  Approve the sale of the City owned vacant lot located on the corner of Sherman and N. Lake Street to Lewis E. Joslyn Sr. in the amount of $1,000, and authorize the City Attorney to prepare any and all documents relative to said sale for execution by the Mayor. (Stedman)

 

  1. BUDGET AMENDMENT:  Authorize budget amendments from police equitable sharing and from insurance recovery from the Flood event. (Pease)

 

  1. CLIMATE SMART COMMUNITIES PLEDGE:  Adopt the Climate Smart Communities Pledge, which will improve the City’s ability to get grant funding from NYSERDA through programs like Cleaner Greener Communities Program.  (Rose/Rauscher) 

 

  1. CONTRACT:  Authorize the Mayor to sign the contract by and between BRiDGES, a/k/a Madison County Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, Inc. for the Employee Assistance Program.   (Margo)    

 

  1. PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT:  Authorize the Mayor to sign a Preventative Maintenance Agreement with Power Generation & Industrial Engines, Inc. in the amount of $365.75 for preventative maintenance on a Dayton Generator/Fire Pump. (Salerno)

 

  1. ADVERTISE FOR BIDS:  Authorize the Purchasing Agent to go to bid for a new boiler at the Recreation Center.  (Griff)

 

NEW BUSINESS

 

EXECUTIVE SESSION: Discussion related to the proposed acquisition, sale, or lease of real property.
