(Chittenango, NY – Feb. 2014) Kids’ Checker Board Workshop to be held at Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum on Thursday Feb. 20 from 9 a.m. until noon. Make and take craft, paint your own checker board. We supply the wood for the board, the pieces for the men and the paint.
You will need to bring a smock.
A checkers tournament will be held on Friday, Feb. 21. Ages 5 years and older. Register by Feb. 17 by calling 687-3801 or info@clcbm.org.
Fee of $20 per child for workshop and $5 to participate in tournament.
Technology Workshop
Open house Technology Workshop to be held at Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum on Tuesday Feb. 18. Laura Rouse will be the presenter. She is a teacher with technology experience through use of virtual learning environments that support classroom instruction. LOTE Trending Technology Host for Model Schools. She has presented technology for local, regional and state levels. Create your own make and take from Publisher, Word, PowerPoint, and/or imovie. If you have any questions pertaining to these types of technology, this workshop is for you.
Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum is located at 717 Lakeport Rd., Chittenango. The workshop will run from 1 to 3 pm. Attendees 17 and under must be with an adult. Fee of $20, museum members, $15. Register by Feb. 15 by calling 687-3801 or email, info@clcbm.
