(Chittenango, NY – Feb. 2014) Saturday, Feb. 1, the Sullivan Community Council and Knights of Columbus held their annual foul-shooting contest at Chittenango Middle School. The contest was free for boys and girls ages 6 to 18.
Each contestant was given 25 shots from the foul line associated with their age, simple as that! There were multiple ties throughout the age groups, which led to exciting shoot-offs to determine who got first-, second- and third-place trophies.
Overall, the event was a success, attracting more than 80 youths to the event. We would like to thank all the volunteers who helped make the event an overwhelming success, and we would also like to thank the Chittenango School District for making this event possible by allowing us to use their gymnasium. A special thanks to the Knights of Columbus, as well.
