Parade entries, vendor applications accepted now
(Chittenango, NY- April 2014) The 36th annual Oz-Stravaganza! in Chittenango themed “Timeless Oz” will be held June 6 through 8.
The grand Oz parade will kick off at 2 p.m. Saturday June 7. To enter a band, float or marching unit in the parade, call Jim Raulli at 687-3471.
Vendor and crafter sites are currently available in Oz Park. For applications and information contact Mark Sample 687-6972 or Lynne Bunce 530-3319.
The Oz committee announces its guest list for the festival including: Caren Marsh-Doll, John Fricke, Bob and Clare Baum, Roger and Charlene Baum, Jonathan Shirshekan, Paul Miles Schneider, Christiana Rickard, Myrna Swensen and Ryan J.
The committee is seeking sponsorship and donations of frequent flier miles for the special guests. For further information, call Colleen Zimmer at 415-8546.
The board of directors of the International L. Frank Baum and All Things Oz Historical Foundation, a 501C3 non-profit foundation is also seeking donations for the All Things Oz museum as the museum prepares to move to its new home at 219 Genesee St. in Chittenango.
