(Brookfield, NY – May 2014) It’s time to make plans to show off your prize-winning creations. The Madison County Fair gave away more than $15,000 in prize money last year. Now is the time to make your claim to some cash.

Entries are now being accepted; browse the class listings at www.madisoncountyfairny.com and click on the premium booklet tab to explore the endless possibilities for exhibiting.

* Baking, Gardening, Collecting, Drawing, Painting, Photography, Sewing and Knitting

* Miss & Mister Madison County Pageant

* Talent Competition

* Livestock Classes: Horses, Cattle, Poultry, Goats, Lambs, Rabbits

* Truck Pull, Tractor Pull, Demolition Derby and Rollover Contest

Many departments have junior divisions (must be under 19 years of age Jan. 1, 2014) that have no entry fee and anyone entering three or more items will receive a free exhibitor pass good for free gate admission throughout the fair.

The entry forms can be printed and mailed to the Entry Clerk, Madison County Fair, P.O. Box 114, Brookfield, N.Y. 13314. If you are unable to access the Internet listings, you may leave a message at 315.899.5867. Forms will be sent to you via U.S. mail. Please specify which departments you are interested in, along with your mailing address.

Entries are due no later than July 3 and are open to our five good neighbor counties (Chenango, Cortland, Herkimer, Oneida and Otsego); any exceptions to this rule are noted in those particular departments.
