(Sherrill, NY – July 2014) The Oneida Area Chapter #3328 of AARP, Inc. will hold its annual summer picnic on Wednesday July 9 at noon at the Sherrill American Legion Post 230, 168 E. Seneca St. Members will gather in the dining room.
Newly elected President, Carolyn Cheesman, is asking members to bring a dish to pass with serving spoon, their own table service and beverage of their choice.
A cash bar will be available. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided by the chapter and will be cooked by staff of the Legion.
Anyone who has a favorite game to play is asked to bring it along.
The regular meetings will begin again at St. Paul’s Church on Sayles St., Oneida on Wednesday, Sept. 10 with Malissa King of the Karing Kitchen as the guest speaker.
