(Canastota, NY – July 2014) Free fishing lessons for children will be offered at the Great Swamp Conservancy Aug. 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Author, photographer, and teacher, fishing expert Spider Rybaak, teaches hundreds of kids how to fish, each year at parks, campgrounds and special events. He will provide the fishing poles, bait and all things necessary for an outing to learn bait and fly fishing.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please bring bug repellant and a bottle of water or a drink. The class is limited to 20 kids.
