(Canastota, NY – Aug. 2014) A new wildlife rehabilitation center has formed in Canastota…and it needs your help.

Wild Animal Rehabilitation and Education House, Inc is a new non-profit corporation that was formed for the purpose of accepting and rehabilitating wildlife from Central New York so that they can be released back into their habitat. There are a lot of upfront expenses for the organization, including cages, blankets, medications, etc. So…it’s garage sale time.

We are accepting donations of items that are resalable. This includes clothing, children’s toys, household items, etc. The sale will be held Oct. 3 and 4 in Canastota.

Donations can be accepted now until Thursday Oct. 2. 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the establishment of the rehabilitation center. The day of the garage sale there will also be fundraising items for sale, as well as a bottle and can drive.

To make an appointment to drop off items for donation, please call/text Jenn at 315-761-2030.
