(Aug. 2014) The New York State Maple Producers Associations wishes to recognize the years of terrific support we have received from Assemblyman Bill Magee (D-Nelson) on the State Assembly Agriculture Committee.
We strongly believe in the benefits of pure New York maple, value added maple products, agri-tourism, and a healthy/sustainable maple farming industry. With the help from New York State Assembly, we have been able to expand our consumer education and marketing efforts, provide for new research, and educate our maple farmers on the latest production and quality control practices.
As a team effort between the state and private individuals, our maple production continues to grow each year, and our markets have expanded as well. This has been a win/win for all New Yorker’s. We thank Bill Magee for his efforts on behalf of New Yorkers, and New York’s farming community.
