(Wampsville, NY – Oct. 2014) The public is invited to join the annual “Archive Day” observance from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 22, 138 N. Court St., Wampsville, in the atrium of the Madison County Office Building (in front of DMV).
This year’s festivities will honor the history of Madison County churches founded prior to the 20th century. More than 40 churches are participating and will be setting up displays of their history.
The county archives will also be displaying the religious incorporation books dating back to the early 19th century. There is no charge for this event. For more information, call 315.366.2453.
