(Poolville, NY – Nov. 2014) The Poolville winter farmers market kicks off Saturday, Nov. 8, from 10 a.m. to noon.  More than 20 local farmers and food producers will participate with their homegrown and homemade goods.  Products to look forward to include potatoes, root vegetables, apples, winter squash, greens, maple syrup, honey, farm-fresh eggs, butter, granola, and pasture raised and grass fed meats including beef, poultry, goat and lamb.

Windy Hill Orchards will be joining us for the month of November.  Their family run orchard is located in Cassville.  They will bring a great selection of apples and cider.  Be sure to stock up and ask the farmer for tips on how to store your purchases well into the winter.  Eat fresh, local apples for months to come.
