(Oneida, NY – Dec. 2014) The Arc of Madison Cortland is helping the Salvation Army by ringing bells during the red kettle drive the Salvation Army holds annually.
“We enjoy giving back to our community,” said Robin Rouse, Manager at The Arc “The Salvation Army asked for help and we wanted to answer that call.”
In addition to ringing the bells on Nov. 24 and 25, The Arc bell ringers will be volunteering at the red kettles in front of Big Lots and Walmart in Oneida on Dec. 15, 16 and 18.
“I hope others will contact the Salvation Army and schedule a time to ring the bells.” Rouse said. “It is a great organization that helps so many people in our community.”
If your organization is looking for volunteers The Arc of Madison Cortland may be able to help.
