Local Residents Among December Grads at SUNY Oneonta
The following local residents are among the 334 students who graduated from SUNY Oneonta following the Fall 2014 semester. Graduates were honored at a December recognition ceremony hosted by College President Nancy Kleniewski and held in the Dewar Arena of the Alumni Field House. They also are eligible to participate in the college’s commencement on May 16.

University of Rhode Island announces Dean’s List
The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that more than 4,700 students qualified for the Fall 2014 Dean’s List.
Students who have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average qualify for the Dean’s List. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 credits with a 3.30 quality point average.

Springfield College Recognizes Dean’s List Students
Springfield College has named the following area students to the Dean’s List for the 2014 Fall Semester:

Criteria for selection to the dean’s list are as follows: The student must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded coursework for the semester, exclusive of “P” grades; the student must not have any incompletes, missing grades or “CPs” in the designated semester; the student must have a minimum semester grade point average of 3.500 for the semester; and the student must not have been barred from the dean’s list due to a disciplinary action.
Gysin Named to Dean’s List
Sumire Gysin of Sherburne has earned Highest Honors for the fall semester of the 2014-2015 academic year at the University of New Hampshire.
Students named to the Dean’s List at the University of New Hampshire have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance. Highest Honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.
