FBLA(Morrisville, NY – March 2015) The best and brightest college students will be showcasing their talents as future business leaders during the second annual New York State Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)-Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) leadership conference being hosted at Morrisville State College on Saturday, March 28.

Morrisville State students will join others from University at Albany, Binghamton University, Cayuga Community College, Le Moyne College, Mercy College, Mohawk Valley Community College, RIT and SUNY Oswego during the conference, which recognizes and rewards excellence in various areas of business and career-related competitive events.

This year’s FBLA-PBL conference includes events in the following categories:  Business Ethics; Financial Analysis & Decision Making; Future Business Executive; Public Speaking; Sales Presentation; Small Business Management Plan; Social Media Campaign; and Strategic Analysis & Decision Making.

Judges for the competitive events will be Morrisville State faculty and alumni and members of the MSC  Business and Entrepreneurship Advisory Council.

The conference will begin in the hospitality suite of the college’s athletic stadium and will include lunch and a presentation by Tariq Shah, a business executive, humanitarian, and entrepreneurial leader from the Central New York area.

Competitions and various workshops will be held throughout Charlton Hall. NYS PBL members from multiple chapters will also be present to network and provide leadership training.

Finalists from the state event will be eligible to compete at the National Leadership Conference in June 2015.
