Greater Sullivan Chamber(Chittenango, NY – May 2015) The Greater Sullivan Area Chamber of Commerce held its Community Recognition Dinner April 25. The Chamber acknowledged the efforts and community dedication of Joan DiChristina with Humanitarian Award

DiChristina been an educator and was instrumental to the creation of the Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum.

Cole Chandler received the Student Award.

Chandler, a senior at Chittenango High School was recognized for his volunteerism at Clear Path for Veterans and mentoring at Chittenango Middle School.

The Chittenango Lions Club earned the Non-Profit Award.

The Lions were recognized for their dedication to the Chittenango Community and many local projects they support.

Sorbello’s Gift & Garden Center received the Business Award.

John Sorbello was recognized for his continuing efforts to help establish a Farmers Market as well as his many projects to beautify the village.  He also supports the Sullivan Food Cupboard.
