(Madison, NY – June 2015) On Monday June 15 at 7:30 p.m. the Town of Madison Historical Society welcomes Madison County Historian Matthew Urtz who will present “CNY Hops, Birth, Death and Re-birth” at the Historical Society museum, 3606 South St. in Madison.
The talk will share the history of Central New York Hops, how they started their dizzying heights, their long fall and their recent return to prominence.
This program is part of the Town of Madison Historical Society’s Speaker Program that is presented every third Monday at 7:30 p.m. The program is free, although donations for the speaker are appreciated, and follows a short meeting at 6:30, to which the public is welcome.
