(Cazenovia, NY – June 2015) Cazenovia Equipment Company is holding its second annual “Feed the Gator” Food Drive during the month of June. The company is accepting donations of non-perishable food items at each of its nine New York State locations, with the goal of filling the bed of a John Deere Gator utility vehicle at each location. The food collected at each location will be donated to the nearest local food bank to be distributed to people in need.
According to Cazenovia Equipment Company Marketing Manager Kalin Frazee, the company holds its annual food drive in June to help respond to increased need.
“As summertime approaches, donations to food banks drop off dramatically,” Frazee said. “But the need still exists, especially for children who rely on school lunches. We ask our customers to join us in celebrating Dairy Month this June by helping to feed families in our communities who are in need.”
When a customer donates 5 or more items, Cazenovia Equipment Company will give them a FREE John Deere Hat (limit one hat per person).
