(July 2015) The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that more than 4,600 undergraduate students have qualified for the Spring 2015 Dean’s List. The students represent almost all of Rhode Island’s cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, other states and countries. More than half of the students are Rhode Islanders.

To be included on the Dean’s List, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 credits with a 3.30 quality point average.

Andrews graduates from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

Jacob Andrews of New Woodstock was among more than 1,000 students to graduate from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The 209th Commencement ceremonies, held in the East Campus Athletic Village Stadium on May 30, included an address by Admiral Michelle Howard, Vice Chief of Naval Operations.

Andrews earned a BS in Chemical Engineering.

Rensselaer Students Named to Dean’s List

Approximately 2,700 students at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute were named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2015 semester. The Dean’s List recognizes full-time students who maintain grade-point averages of a minimum of 3.0 out of a possible 4.0 and have no grades below “C.”

Maliga earned Dean’s List Honors

Sean Maliga of Cazenovia earned Dean’s List honors at Saint Joseph’s University for the Spring 2015 semester. Maliga studies Sports Marketing at the University. Students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or above, a B or greater in all their classes, and complete at least 15 credits to earn dean’s list status for a semester.
