(Madison, NY – Aug. 2015) The Town of Madison Historical Society is looking for volunteers to act as hosts and hostesses on the shuttle bus that picks up and drops off passengers in between show fields and parking lots during the 2-mile long Madison-Bouckville Antique Week on Thursday, Aug. 13 through Sunday, Aug. 16.
The shuttle service begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. Historical society friends and members dress up in period outfits depicting the 19th century and ride the shuttle for a three-and-a-half hour shift to talk to people and help promote our town’s history and businesses. The shuttle is free but donations for the society are accepted.
