(Boonville, NY – Sept. 2015) Hikers are invited to enjoy the beauty of the fall season while hiking the Black River Canal Towpath with hikers of the North Country Trail Association Saturday Sept. 26.
The group will hike the BREIA trail from Boonville to Pixley Falls State Park, seven miles of even terrain.
Participants should meet at Erwin Park parking lot at 10 a.m. on the northeast side of Route 12 in Boonville.
For those who wish to convoy from the south, meet at the Canastota Thruway exit, leaving there at 9 a.m. for the park in Boonville.
Be sure to pack a lunch and beverage.
