SUNY Oswego announces August graduates
(Sept. 2015) Several area residents completed their baccalaureate studies at SUNY Oswego in August 2015.
A student who graduates with honors is indicated by the traditional Latin phrases summa cum laude, with highest honor (grade averages of 3.8 to 4.0); magna cum laude, with great honor (grade averages of 3.6 to 3.79); and cum laude, with honor (grade averages of 3.30 to 3.59).
Among them were:
Caren E. Bertrand of New Boston Street in Canastota earned her bachelor of arts degree in English
Gerianne Corradino of Robinson Road in Chittenango earned her bachelor of arts degree in language and international trade, cum laude
Brian T. Valesky of Hunt Valley Road in Oneida earned his bachelor of science degree in wellness management, magna cum laude
Katelyn Winn of Knoxboro Road in Oriskany Falls earned her bachelor of arts degree in public justice
SUNY Oswego announces August recipients of graduate degrees
Several students completed their graduate studies at SUNY Oswego and were recognized in August with master’s degrees or graduate certificates. Among them were:
Rebecca Sernett of Carriagehouse Circle in Cazenovia earned a master of science degree in mental health counseling.
Jamie L. Gibbons of Gill Street in Chittenango earned a master of science in teaching degree in adolescence education.
