(Oneida, NY – Feb. 20, 2016) Tanner L. Mattice, 22, of Phelps Street, Oneida was charged Feb. 16 with third-degree Assault. He is alleged to have struck another person with a closed fist causing a fracture of tripod and swelling.
Dawn M. Smith, 51, of Cleveland Avenue, Oneida was issued a criminal summons Feb. 18 on a charge of Issuing a Bad Check.
William M. Randel, 34, of Pexton Street, Sherrill was arrested on an arrest warrant Feb. 19 on a charge of Petit Larceny. He is alleged to have stolen merchandise from Price Chopper.
Joshua J. Reome, 28, of Williams Street, Oneida was issued an appearance ticket Feb. 19 on a trash violation charge.

Shawn D. Masse, 22, of Broad Street, Durhamville was arrested Feb. 18 at about 1:30 a.m. after he was observed by a police officer on West Street in the city of Oneida and was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for seventh-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Criminal Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument.
In addition he was charged with seventh-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Resisting Arrest and third-degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon, a class D Felony.
Masse is alleged to have possessed heroin, to have resisted arrest and struggle with officers trying to pull his hands away toward his chest and waist and to have possessed a loaded .380 handgun tucked in his waistband.
He also possessed hypodermic needles in his pocket.
Masse was arraigned and committed to Madison County Jail in lieu of bail set at $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond and was to appear in Oneida City Court Feb. 19.
