State Police arrest Clifton Park Man for stealing car in Oswego

On Friday March 18, 2016 at approximately 1:31 a.m., State Police observed a sedan off the roadway in the City of Oswego with its hazard lights on. When Troopers approached the vehicle, they found Luke F. Brignola, 21, of Clifton Park, NY in the driver’s seat.

Investigation at the scene revealed that the vehicle had become stuck in the side yard of the owner’s residence. Troopers interviewed the victim who had recently returned home from work and was sleeping at the time of the incident. Brignola is accused of entering the vehicle and accessing a spare key, driving the vehicle out of the driveway, and getting stuck in the yard.

Brignola was taken into custody and transported to SP Fulton where he was charged with Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree, a class “E” felony. He was arraigned in the Town of Scriba Court and remanded to the Oswego County Jail. Brignola is scheduled to appear in the City of Oswego Court on March 22, 2016 at 9:30 a.m.

Suspicious Vehicle Complaint Ends in Drug and Weapon Charges for Phoenix Teenager

On March 20, 2016 at approximately 7:23 p.m., State Police in Fulton were dispatched to the William J. Farley Community Park on Chestnut Street in the Town of Schroeppel, Oswego County, for a complaint of two females acting suspiciously and possibly using drugs in a vehicle in the parking lot.

State Police arrived and located the vehicle parked in the parking lot with two females inside. Investigation at the scene revealed the seventeen year old passenger had in her possession cocaine, heroin, prescription medications, amphetamine pills, marijuana, a portable scale, and a metal knuckle knife.

The passenger was taken into custody and transported to SP Fulton where she was charged with four counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree, all class “A” misdemeanors, and two counts of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Schroeppel Court at a later date.

Yorkville Man charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated

On March 15, 2016 at approximately 12:38 p.m., State Police in Remsen responded to a vehicle off the roadway on Horatio Street in the Town of Deerfield. Upon arrival, Troopers made contact with the vehicle’s operator, Joseph H. Lee, 31, of Yorkville. Investigation at the scene revealed Lee was intoxicated. He was taken into custody and transported to SP Remsen, where he was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor, as well as several other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. Lee is scheduled to appear in the Town of Deerfield Court on March 22, 2016.
