State Police in Oneida are investigating a two-car crash that occurred on State Route 31 in Sullivan.
At approximately 3:19 p.m., a 2005 Chevrolet operated by James J. Horrigan, 22, of Lakeport Road, Chittenango, was westbound on Route 31 when he crossed over the center line and struck a 2015 Toyota Sienna van head-on in the eastbound lane.
The driver of the van, Stanley G. Prue, 70, was transported to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse with internal injuries. A front seat passenger in the van, Marjorie A. Prue, 67 was transported to Upstate Medical Center with severe head injuries. A back seat passenger in the van, 92 year-old, Robert J. Blakeman was transported to Upstate Medical Center for internal injuries; he died there the following day. Horrigan was transported to SUNY Upstate Medical University for a severe head injury.
The investigation continues.
