Colgate Bookstore hosts community-wide scavenger hunt
Calling all book lovers, treasure hunters, and puzzle solvers! In celebration of Children’s Book Week (May 2 through 7), a one-of-a-kind book scavenger hunt awaits you. To enter the hunt, visit the Colgate Bookstore Tuesday, May 3, at 2 p.m., and receive your hunt directions and supplies. Solve the puzzle hidden at the Bookstore, then move on to the next puzzle location – the Hamilton Center for the Arts! When that puzzle is solved, head over to the Hamilton Public Library to locate and solve the third puzzle.
When all three puzzles are solved, come back to the Bookstore. The first five participants to correctly solve all three puzzles will win a $25 gift card and a signed copy of, “Book Scavenger” by Jennifer Chambliss Bertman! All participants will receive other prizes.
This is a Children’s Book Week event, and the Colgate Bookstore is proud to donate 13 percent of all children’s book sales from this week to the Hamilton Public Library.
