The KEYS Program is excited to announce it has been selected, along with Make-a-Wish of Central New York, as the benefiting charities for this year’s CNY Kids Expo! This educational, interactive event for families with children from toddlers through 12 years old is being held at the NYS Fairgrounds on May 21st from 10am till 4pm. There will be interactive exhibits, demonstrations and workshops for the kids, bouncy houses, face painting, entertainment, shopping and much more!
The KEYS Program is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that delivers music, hope and smiles to kids battling cancer through music outreach, education and advocacy. KEYS provides bedside music, family respite days and sibling support programs at no cost to families who have a child battling cancer. One of the most popular programs at KEYS is their “Smile Experience” family respite day program where kids battling cancer get to suit up in a drivers suit and take laps on the race track in a quarter midget race car. Balloons, live music, great food and racing fun make it a very special day for families to get a break from their everyday battle with cancer. The KEYS Program will have their Smile Experience quarter midget on display at the CNY Kids Expo giving kids attending the Expo a chance to sit in the car, get their pictures taken and to “experience” the KEYS Program first hand.
